Brothers Easy Moving of Tampa has a documented track record of handling elderly and disabled moves with the care and patience those situations require. Reviews from families in the Tampa Bay area describe crews who arrived on time, communicated clearly, and treated belongings as if they were moving their own grandparents. Brothers Easy Moving of Tampa is a family-owned company founded in 2010 with more than 25,000 completed moves.

When a family trusts us with a parent’s or grandparent’s belongings, we don’t take that lightly. Moving an elderly or disabled relative is one of the more demanding jobs we do, and getting it right matters in ways that go beyond furniture. Here are some real reviews of our elderly moving services that have stayed with us.

With Elderly Moving Services, Your Family is Our Family

We try to treat every client as if they are our top priority. This reviewer sure appreciated it.

“Zack and Eric were awesome! On time, professional and careful. You would have thought they were moving their own Grandparents. All this was done with the Hurricane Mathew at their heels. I would highly recommend these young men and use them again in a heartbeat.”

Description of work:

Daryl was great to work with via the phone and email. Eric and Zack moved my parents from Sun City Center to Jacksonville Florida.

This reviewer trusted us with his mother-in-law’s move and was happy with the experience.

“Josh, Mike & Lucas arrived on time, went right to work packing up the last few items and loaded everything into the truck. Everything was unloaded and arrived with no damage. These gentlemen were very courteous and friendly while they completed our move, they did a very good job and we would not hesitate to hire them again.
Thanks guys!”

Description of work:

Moved my mother in-laws 1 bedroom apartment from Sun City Center to our home in Englewood.

We have also handled moves involving physical restrictions and disabilities. Here is one account that says it plainly.
Absolutely the most painless move I’ve ever been involved in, and I’ve moved a lot over the past 30 years. Matt called an hour ahead of time to advise they were on their way, and told me he and Aaron would be our movers. They showed up right on time, and assured us that they would help us with anything we needed, including extra boxes, tape, packing, etc.. They disassembled (and reassembled) anything that needed to go over in separate pieces (like the bedroom set, end tables), wrapped everything carefully and did a great job getting the move done. Both Matt and Aaron were so wonderful to work with; very polite and attentive, constantly asking if there was anything we needed help with and checking to make sure they got everything we wanted to move and where things should go in the new place. Aaron even helped us decide where to place the furniture in the condo, and his suggestions were perfect. They finished in exact amount of time estimated by Darryl (3 hours) and the cost was also exactly the same as the quote, and there was zero damage. I would definitely use Brothers to move again, and would also request Matt and Aaron. Overall, as much as I hate moving, this was pleasant experience.”

Description of work:

We hired Brothers Easy Moving of Tampa for a move from a 2-bedroom house with an office to a one-bedroom condo. We had a lot of boxes (at least 40) and some very heavy furniture to move. We were moving a friend who is disabled, and wasn’t completely organized (we flew in from Az to help).

We treat those items the way we would want someone to treat our own family's belongings, which means wrapping carefully, disassembling furniture when needed, and loading with extra attention rather than speed. The crews mentioned in these reviews, like Matt and Aaron, took time to reassemble bedroom sets and end tables at the destination without being asked.

If something is genuinely irreplaceable, tell us before moving day so we can plan around it. That conversation matters more than any amount of bubble wrap.

Retirement communities in the Sun City Center and greater Tampa Bay area often have specific move-in and move-out windows, elevator reservations, and parking restrictions for large trucks. We ask about those details during the booking call so nothing catches us off guard on moving day.

The more you tell us upfront about the building, the floor, and any access limits, the more accurately we can quote the time and plan the crew size. Surprises on moving day cost everyone.

It happens more often than people expect, and it is not a problem we penalize you for. As one reviewer noted, the person being moved was not completely organized and the crew still handled it without complaint, packing remaining items and checking room by room to make sure nothing was left behind.

We do ask that you let us know ahead of time if packing help will be needed, because that affects how long the job takes and we want the quote to reflect reality, not a best-case scenario.

Florida's default carrier liability is 60 cents per pound. That means a 10-pound lamp worth several hundred dollars would be covered for six dollars under the minimum. We explain this before booking, not after something breaks, because the gap between what people assume and what the law provides is where most of the real frustration comes from.

If the items being moved have significant monetary or sentimental value, ask us about full-value protection options before moving day so you can make an informed choice with time to think it over.

You can request specific crew members and we will do our best to accommodate it, though scheduling does not always make it possible. Our crews are partner crews who work regularly with us, not day labor pulled from an app, so the same people are genuinely available to book again.

Calling us at (813) 505-2560 and mentioning who you worked with before gives us the best chance of matching you up. It is a reasonable thing to ask for and we take it seriously.
