Apartment Movers Who Know How Buildings Work

Most apartment buildings and condo associations in the Tampa Bay area require you to reserve a service elevator or loading dock before moving day, and some limit moves to specific hours. We ask about those restrictions when you book so we can plan the crew size and start time around them.

If you forget to check and the elevator is unavailable, that costs everyone time and money. A quick call to your leasing office before you schedule us prevents most of those surprises.

Protecting the building is part of the job, not an add-on. The crew wraps furniture and uses padding on door frames and tight corners before anything moves. That is exactly what the reviewer above noticed when we moved a three-bedroom townhome into a two-bedroom apartment, a job with a lot of tight maneuvering.

That said, if a hallway is unusually narrow or a stairwell has a sharp turn, tell us when you book. Knowing ahead of time lets the crew bring the right equipment and plan the approach.

The estimate we give you before booking accounts for what you tell us: floor level, elevator access or lack of it, walking distance from the truck to your door, and the size of your load. If you are on the fourth floor with no elevator, that goes into the quote, not onto a surprise line at the end.

Where estimates drift is when the actual job differs from what was described, more boxes than mentioned, or a parking situation that pushes the truck farther away. Accuracy on your end and ours keeps the final number close to the quoted one.

Florida's default carrier liability is 60 cents per pound. On a 50-pound dresser that means $30, which rarely covers real repair or replacement cost. Our $2 million liability policy covers our crew's actions, but it does not automatically replace your belongings at full value.

Before your move date we will walk you through the difference between that default and full-value protection so you can decide what makes sense for what you own. Finding out how coverage works after something breaks is a bad time to learn it.

One move, one booking. We load from your current apartment, drive to the new one, and unload. The hourly rate covers the crew and truck for the full job, origin to destination, with travel noted as a single plain line on your quote.

Where same-day moves get complicated is when both buildings have restricted move-in windows that overlap, or when one lease ends at noon and the other does not start until two.
