Long-distance moves are a different animal from local ones. The distance alone adds variables that can go wrong: timing, truck breakdowns, weather, items that don’t fit on the first load. When you’re moving to Dallas or Virginia, you can’t just call the crew back the next morning if something was missed. You need people who have done this before and who will be straight with you the whole way through. Here’s what some of our customers had to say about their long-haul moves with Brothers Easy Moving of Tampa.
What Do Real Customers Say About Long-Distance Moves?
Excellent Moving Experience
“Excellent moving experience. I had initially thought that they were local movers, but they have excellent experience doing long haul moves as well. They were very professional and accommodating, and did their best to move all my stuff to Dallas in 2 days straight. I had to ask Gary to move my car also at the last moment, and he did that too without a hitch and for minimal additional cost. He also then moved my 2nd car the week after with another of his moves. During my move, some of the stuff didn’t fit in the truck, and he moved it on his 2nd trip for no additional cost. They packed everything very well and then unpacked and assembled all my furniture in Dallas. I was quite apprehensive about my move, but Gary and his team made my move pretty straight-forward. I will recommend Gary to anyone who is looking to move in-city or long-haul from Tampa.”
Without a Hitch
“The move went without a hitch. Brothers Easy Moving of Tampa swarmed our move- showing up with 6 people on loading day. A 2300′ house with the belongings of 5 people took from 9 AM to about 12:30 PM.
The same guys who loaded us in Tampa, also met us in Virginia and unloaded everything without incident and nothing broken.
I would definitely call on Brothers Easy Moving of Tampa again.”
I was Very Happy
“I was planning a long distance move with a number of very valuable items, and, after looking at a number of options, chose Brothers Easy Moving of Tampa. I’m really glad I did. The price was reasonable (they even matched a competitor’s price, and they had better options), and they were able to provide door to door service for me. Gary was very responsive and flexible, and made sure I was informed every step of the way. The guys who packed were very thorough and packed, wrapped, and placed all of my valuables and furniture safely. Wayne, the driver, was one of the packers, and was very conscientious and careful in where and how he placed the items in the truck. When I saw him a few days later at the delivery location, nothing new was broken or damaged (they pointed out when there was damage with an item they were about to pack). I had one item I was very concerned about, and Wayne made sure to show me it arrived unscathed. All in all, I was *very* happy with Brothers Easy Moving of Tampa, and if I had the opportunity, I would use them again.”
Why Does It Matter Who Loads and Who Delivers?
One detail worth noticing in the second review: the same crew that loaded in Tampa showed up in Virginia to unload. That is not an accident. Brothers Easy Moving of Tampa uses its own trucks and its own crews for long-distance moves. There are no brokers handing your belongings off to a stranger. The people who packed your furniture are the people who know where everything is and how it was wrapped. That continuity matters more than most people realize until something goes wrong on a move where it didn’t happen.
What Should You Ask Before Booking a Long-Distance Mover?
If you are weighing your options for a long-distance move from Tampa, Riverview, or St. Petersburg, the right questions are: Do you own your trucks? Will the same crew load and deliver? How is pricing determined, and what happens if not everything fits on the first load? We are happy to walk through all of that with you before you book anything. Call us at (813) 505-2560.
